The development of the region’s transport system as an indicator of economic growth (on the example of the Kaluga region)

The article considers the transport system of the region as an indicator of economic development, provides information on changes in the transport system until 2022 and suggests directions for further development. The regional transport system is one of the important elements ensuring the progressive economic development of the region. By 2022, 12 industrial parks are operating in the region. The strategy of the region 2040 provides for the further development of transport and logistics hubs in the region. The development of the road network will ensure not only the safe use of roads, but also increase the economic attractiveness of the region.
