Development of creative activity and creativity of college students using TRIZ-pedagogy methods

The educational activity of the student is determined by the model of future professional activity. Further competitiveness in the labor market is impossible without high-quality training in the chosen specialty. TRIZ-pedagogy methods are experiencing a rebirth today, becoming more and more re-levant. Their use in the educational process activates mental operations, promotes mental flexibility, develops creativity and creative activity. TRIZ methods in the classroom are aimed at developing the student’s personality and are an effective tool for problem-based, project-based, student-centered learning, which meets the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard. The authors consider that their introduction into the educational process helps the teacher: to use the knowledge gained by students to solve various practical, to research and educational problems; to identify and to develop the individual capabilities and creative abilities of each person; to develop the cognitive interest of students; to promote the acquisition of productive teamwork skills. The article presents the results of the study, reflecting the development of creative activity and creativity before and after the application of TRIZ methods at the South Ural State Technical College during the training sessions on “Life Safety”. The experience of applying some methods of TRIZ-pedagogy is described on the example of specific topics.
