Development of educational cognitive activity of younger school students in the course of training in game in chess

In article theoretical practical questions development of educational cognitive activity of younger school students in the course of training in game in chess are considered. The author specifies the importance of educational cognitive activity which is socially - significant quality of the personality and is formed in activity of younger school students. Some directions in the content of the concept "educational cognitive activity" are analyzed. The most effective methods of formation of educational cognitive activity of younger school students on the basis of the conducted research are defined, and along with them there is a game in chess.
