Nowadays, modern tourism needs in producing and promoting of products which will be competitive in image building environment. Art objects which have traditional value for local population and for visitors can be such products. Positive perception of ethno cultural souvenir products solves the problem of regional recognizability of territory and forms its visual image. The Udmurt Republic oers narrow assortment of exclusive national souvenirs although there is a background for their development (for example, existence of original ethno cultural objects). Producing of souvenir product with ethnic motives can be a memorable present for its owner and a tutorial which lets to explore national color of Udmurtia and tell children about roots of their ethnic group. In this article local souvenirs as a part of tour product of destination have been esteemed, ethnic theme and culture of the Udmurt nationality on the example of mythological an totemic animals have been learnt, artistic devices of decoration have been investigated as traditional Udmurt ornament and interrelation Udmurt motives in the modern design solutions have been validated. Universal algorithm of creating design project of ethno cultural souvenir product have been oered and stages of development of artistic wooden puzzles which can interest adults and children and be useful in learning of mythology and culture of Udmurtia have been analyzed. We make conclusions of necessity of searching of new ideas of creating new goods which can be an instrument of strengthening of territorial identity and a way of understanding a multicultural of he world and during these processes they can do developmental, educational and patriotic functions. This work has been done as a part of realization of strategic project «Udmurtia in global cultural space» at the base of FBEI HE UdSU as a part of PSAL «Priority2030».
