Development of monologue speech skills using the technology of mind maps

The author considers the possibilities of using the technology of mind maps to form the skills of monologue speech in foreign language lessons at the level of basic general education. The analysis of the features of monologue speech, its structural elements, the difficulties of its formation is given. The use of mind maps for teaching monologue speech is substantiated, the basic algorithms of work within the framework of the technology of mental maps for teaching monologue are given in two approaches accepted in the modern methodology: "bottom-up" and "top-down".
