Development of currency control in the Russian Federation at the present stage

Currency control and currency regulation are part of the state policy and are aimed at ensuring the stability of the currency and the internal foreign exchange market of the Russian Federation. Currency regulation is the main instrument of monetary policy that regulates the rules for residents and non-residents to carry out foreign economic activities aimed at preserving the country's foreign economic security. The article defines the relevance of currency control at the present stage of state development. A study of theoretical and methodological provisions and approaches to types of currency control is carried out. The dynamics of currency control and violations of currency legislation are analyzed. Based on the analysis, the directions of improving currency control and currency regulation at the present stage of development are proposed.
