The study focuses on the evolution of graphic design in East Asian countries, relevant in a global context due to the growing role of the Asian region. The development of digital technologies makes the study of East Asian graphic design relevant, given its influence on creative decisions and training of specialists in conditions of intercultural interaction. The historical roots of East Asian graphic design, rooted in the cultural heritage of China, Korea and Japan, formed over millennia, are examined. Particular attention is paid to the development of graphic design in East Asian countries from the 19th century to the present day. The key factors and events that contributed to the emergence of graphic design as a profession in each of these countries are examined. Thus, the work comprehensively examines the evolution of graphic design in East Asia, from historical roots to the current state, which allows us to better understand the specifics of this phenomenon in the global cultural landscape.
