Development of legislation and formation of exercises of half-time

This article is devoted to an analytical review of scientific literature and legislation on half-time work. The development of legal thought can be traced from the beginning of the legal regulation of half-time work in the USSR to the present. On the basis of the research, a number of issues raised in the Soviet science of labor law and not received an unambiguous decision during the independence of the Republic of Belarus are highlighted. The author comes to the conclusion that it is necessary to continue developing problems of legal regulation of half-time work with a view to establishing an effective mechanism for implementing and protecting the rights and legitimate interests of persons in the labor sphere.
