The article addresses the developmental educational environment of a university as a predictor of students' academic, professional and socio-psychological adaptation. Using regression analysis, the key psychological predictors of four types of educational environment were identifi ed: serene, career-oriented, dogmatic, and creative. The obtained results confi rm that the perception of the educational environment is determined by the personal and socio-psychological characteristics of students. Based on the findings, practical recommendations have been developed for designing a multi-level university educational environment that takes into account the diverse psychological and pedagogical needs of students.
