The article proposes and substantiates the author's interpretation of the thesis The Way to Unified Culture introduced in the educational standard for the discipline Concepts of Contemporary Natural Science. Three-level hierarchy of the teaching aims of the discipline, the method of developmental training for its teaching, nonformalized approach to control and knowledge assessment of a student have been substantiated.
