Hearing loss is a fairly common problem in the modern world, leading to disability and disability. Cochlear implantation is a modern method of medical-technical and psychological-pedagogical rehabilitation that allows you to restore auditory perception and promotes the development of speech in deaf people. This method involves the implementation of the following stages: examination, operation, rehabilitation, replacement of the processor. At the same time, the effectiveness of the results is determined by regular postoperative correctional and pedagogical assistance and the adjustment of the processor of the cochlear implantation system. Postoperative activities are carried out by an interdisciplinary team (doctors, teachers, psychologists)for many years, which contributes to increasing the rehabilitation potential of deaf children and adults, improving their auditory and speech development, allowing them to fully integrate into the environment.
