Rehabilitation of patients with long bone defects and pseudoarthroses, current state of the problem

The authors analyz the turned out approaches to rehabilitation of patients with long bone defects and pseudoarthroses using the techniques of non-free osteoplasty according to Ilizarov. All the technologies of transosseous osteosynthesis have been introduced into clinical practice, providing the complete anatomic-and-functional restoration of injured limbs in rather short periods of treatment-and-recovery process.
