Morphofunctional conditions of leg muscles were studied in three groups of adult mongrel dogs. In the first group distraction was made manually by 1 mm per day for 4 times 0,25 mm each in the working time (control 1); in the second group distraction was made automatically by 1 mm for 60 times round-the-clock (control 2) and in the third group – automatic distraction by 3 mm per day for 180 times (the main group). Significant decrease, comparing to the initial level and control values, of the amplitude of M-responses in the muscles of the leg during its automatic lengthening of high rate is connected with the development of reorganization processes in the nerve trunks, synapses and muscular fibers, subjected to distraction. Moreover, the intensity of muscular condition recovery is sufficiently high and comparable with the first control group.
