«OIL CROPS» Scientific bulletin, VNIIMK, 2006, is 2 (135). In three geographically distanced points of Russia and Iran at latitudes 45°, 36° and 50° the estimation of photoperiodic reaction of soybean varieties Aldana, RVB and Liana of different maturity groups is carried out. Researches were conducted out with the purpose of a tentative estimation of soybean genotype suitability to introduction on lower or higher geographical latitudes with lengths of day, relatives modeled ones in a place of carrying out of a primary estimation. Change of day length in conditions of Krasnodar was modeled by terms of sowing. It is preset, that average-ripening variety RVB and a late-ripening variety Liana on duration of the vegetative period and height of plants are quite suitable for industrial cultivation in conditions of Northern provinces of Iran at latitude 36°, however, cannot be used for cultivation on 50-th parallel. Very early variety Aldana can successfully grow in a range of latitudes from 36° up to 50° inclusive. Thus, it has the lowered photoperiodic sensitivity, what absence of essential distinctions as on plant form, so on duration of the vegetative period in all points of tests testifies. For a trait of plants height approximation of the modeling data while is possible only for more southern latitudes.
