Realization of the course "Physical culture" (elective disciplines)

The article analyzes the experience of Petrozavodsk State University on the implementation of the discipline "Physical Education" in elective areas, provides the results of a survey of students and teachers of the Department of Physical Culture on the transition to a new system of organizing physical education and educational process at the university. And also considers the relationship in preferences for selected sports areas and the level of attendance.
