The realization of the idea of complexity in the methodical work of Narkompros of RSFSR (1918-1929)

The article deals with activities of the people's commissariat of education of the RSFSR (NKP) in the sphere of creation and introducing of the so-called complex-plans in the initial period of its work (1918-1929). The focus is made on the attempts of prominent figures of NKP (N. K. Krupskaya, A. V. Lunacharsky, etc) to realize the idea of complexity of school programs in the period of making and introducing them into schools. The reaction of teachers to these attempts is also shown. The article gives an objective characteristic of the so called integrated programs of the State Scientific Council. The arguments are given by officials of the NKP, which accompanied this introduction. The causes of those methodological fallacies that were imposed to Russian schools are represented. The article indicates the relationship of the imposition of ill-considered innovations by the fact, that many officials of the Narkompros did not have special education and any teaching experience. It shows the reaction of ordinary Russian teachers on innovation at the time. In the article views of individual prominent educators and educators of the 1920-1930-ies. (N. K. Krupskaya, M. N. Pokrovsky, A. V. Lunacharsky, P. P. Blonsky) are characterized.
