Implementation of individual educational and career trajectories as a tool for developing the competitiveness in future specialists

The paper studies the specifics of managing the educational and career path of students of a higher educational institution from the perspective of the developing the competitiveness in future specialists in the labor market. A study of leading career orientations is carried out, their features are considered depending on the direction of preparation of students of the university. The results obtained allowed the author to group the analyzed career orientations, as well as formalize the vectors of professional development for each of the described groups. Based on the results of cluster analysis, a classification of types of career strategies has been developed depending on the qualitative composition and severity of leading career orientations. The possibilities for the most effective career self-realization of young people, as well as its characteristic features, are determined. The proposed approach provides a solution to a range of issues affecting the increase in the level of adaptation of specialists, including youth, in the labor market.
