This article sheds light on the role of merchandising in sports. Nowadays merchandising is an important constituent of a sport club’s performance. Nevertheless, some clubs do not act effectively because of the lack of understanding the role of merchandizing. This works describes why it is important and how to improve the club’s policy in the field of merchandising.
