Effects of exposure germ cells of male Wistar rats to 60Co (0.5-1.0 Gy, dose rate 0.003 Gy/s before copulation) on embryonic and postnatal development of posterity of two generations were studied. The more pronounced effect was observed in sibling of the first generation. Less marked radiation-induced disturbance of embryonic and postnatal development was found in the second generation. The findings indicate genome instability.
