M-channel filters in residue number system

The main means of digital signal processing in modern science is fi ltering. The most studied to date are two-channel digital fi lters. This article discusses the M-channel digital fi lters. The direct and polyphase implementation of such fi lters, as well as some of their properties. A method for implementing M-channel fi lters in residue number system, that allows to organize the computations in parallel, to improve the performance of digital signal processing in general.
