Implementation of the adaptive learning model based on learning styles

The article deals with the issues of organization of person-oriented learning in the electronic information educational environment of a higher school. The authors describe N. Fleming''s VARK model of learning styles, based on the individual psychological characteristics of individual cognitive structure, predisposition to use different ways of perception of educational material. The authors study the technique of J. Bruner, in the framework of which learning is differentiated according to the basic type of thinking as an individual method of analysis and synthesis of educational material. On this basis, the authors suggest a model of adaptive teaching of software engineering to students majoring in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science.
