Implementation of the Peer-to-Peer Academic Tutoring Model in a Technical University

The relevance of this problem is substantiated by an analysis of related studies and the adaptation challenges of fi rstyear students at a technical university. The importance of using the peer tutoring model at the university is demonstrated, and its potential for addressing students' challenges is explored. The conditions for the eff ectiveness of academic mentoring using this model are identifi ed. Key areas for its implementation are presented: academic support, career counseling, soft skills development, and the creation of a student community. The advantages of the model for the technical university and its participants are highlighted.
