The concept of “human rights” is considered, the importance of the prosecution authorities in the framework of the implementation of the human rights function is emphasized, the specifics of the protection of human rights by the prosecution authorities is revealed using the example of a separate region of the Russian Federation. The official statistics of violations of the law directly affecting human rights are provided.
