Implementation of the authority of the Department of Federal Supervision Agency for Customer Protection and Human Welfare in the Republic of Tatarstan by protection of consumer’s rights

Introduction: the author studies mechanisms of consumerism applied by Russian Federal State Agency for Health and Consumer Rights for the Republic of Tatarstan, the main achievements of the regional system of consumer protection are given. Materials and Methods: the author carried out the study basing on the laws of the Russian Federation in consumerism. Statistical data (2007 - 2021) and court practice were the materials of the study. The methodological tools were descriptive, empirical methods of knowledge, as well as the method of comparative analysis. Results: the main types of violations of consumer rights, which received the largest number of appeals to the Office of Rospotrebnadzor, as well as the most frequent grounds for administrative penalties for violations of consumer rights in 2021 were identified. Discussion and Conclusions: the author of the article comes to the conclusion about the importance of effective interaction between the participants of the national system for the protection of consumer rights in order to implement a set of measures for the effective protection of consumer rights in the Republic of Tatarstan.
