Realization of potential seed productivity of mustard (Brassica juncea L.) ovary at free flowering and self-pollination

Бесплатный доступ

The real realization of potential productivity of mustard ovary varies depending on a variety and weather conditions of year on the average from 70 to 85 %, at free flowering, and from 38 to 54 % at self-pollination. The wide range of intravarietal variability of yield components (quantities of ovules per ovary and seeds in a pod) and self-fertility degree testifies to considerable potential of selection of highly productive biotypes in heterogenous populations of Brassica juncea L.
