Implementation of housing construction programs in the region

The article examines the implementation of housing policy in the Kaluga region. Based on open statistical data, the main indicators of the regional state program for providing affordable and comfortable housing for the population of the region are analyzed. Despite the high pace of construction in the region, exceeding the all-Russian indicators, it is concluded that there is insufficient housing provision for the population. Possible ways to improve regional housing policy may be the allocation of free plots of land for construction with the help of mortgage loans and the development of mechanisms for attracting credit and investment funds to secure land plots.
