Implementation of a regional system for supporting professional self-determination of students in the Chelyabinsk region

In the article, through the prism of the evolution of the concept of “vocational guidance”, the experience of creating a regional system for supporting the professional self-determination of students is considered. The system is based on the Concept of organizational and pedagogical support of professional self-determination of students of the Chelyabinsk region (hereinafter referred to as the Concept). Taking into account regional specifics and experience, a regional career guidance management system has been created for the implementation of Concept. That allows coordinating and controlling this direction in the region. Its main elements are the regional coordinating council, the regional methodological association, territorially divided into five sections, the institution responsible for the implementation of the Concept in all municipal education authorities and educational organizations, as well as the project curator - the Chelyabinsk Institute of the Vocational Education Development. The effectiveness of work to support the professional self-determination of students is presented in the form of the results of monitoring the implementation of the activities of the Comprehensive Plan for the Implementation of the Concept for 2021.
