Based on archival documents that have been put into circulation for the first time, the article considers the implementation of social policy towards the former partisans within the territory of the Buryat-Mongolian Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic. We have shown the main lines of social policy, provided data on the number of partisan tickets issued and social benefits provided to partisans and their families. The article describes the activity of partisan commissions in Verkhneudinsk (Ulan-Ude since 1934) and aimags of the republic, the specifics of their work. Using the example of a collective application of partisans from a former Jewish company to the partisan commission we have revealed the difficulties that partisans faced in obtaining a partisan book. It is concluded that social policy towards partisans within the territory of the republic was implemented unevenly in numerical and territorial terms.
