Realization of the constituents of the “home” concept in the “The last tribute” by V. P. Astafiev

Statement of the problem.Among the dynamically developing areas of modern research is the linguistics of the text, which implies, in particular, the identification of its conceptual meaning. The purpose of this articleis to identify the constituents of the concept of “home”, presented in the work of V.P. Astafiev “The Last Tribute”. Methodology (methods). The methods of definition, component and context analysis were used as the main ones in the analysis of the literary concept of “home”. The review of the scientificliterature is based on the analysis of the works of domestic and foreign linguists, such as S.A. Askol'dov, V.A. Maslova, E.M. Vereshchagin, V.G. Kostomarov, S.G. Vorkachev, Eleonor Rosch, George Lakoff, Vyvyan Evans and others. Results of the study.Based on the analysis of the contexts representing the concept of “home” in the story “The Last Tribute”, we identified its constituents, which can be combined into the thematic groups: 1) inner space of home; 2) communication between home and the person; 3) hospitality. Conclusion.The component “dwelling” characteristic for the core zone of the concept is verbalized in the text of the story either directly by the name of the concept, or by its synonyms. In the core of the concept, the constituent “home inner space” is expressed through the use of connotatively unloaded nominations, in the peripheral zone it is expressed due to context synonyms.
