Implementation of all-Russian physical culture and sports complex “Ready for labor and defense” on the basis of Krasnodar Branch of Plekhanov Russian University of Economics: approaches, results, prospects

The paper consider the theoretical and practical foundations of the VFSK GTO, as a guarantee of a healthy and sporting future not only for young people, but also for the older part of the population. The history of the development of the “Ready for Labor and Defense” complex, mandatory and additional tests aimed at developing endurance, purposefulness and flexibility of participants are presented. On the basis of the Krasnodar branch of the G. V. Plekhanov, statistics are considered and a survey of students about the reasons for talking part in a sporting event is conducted. For clarity, the work reflects a graph and a pie chart that facilitates instant analysis and summarizing the survey. On the basis of which the following categories of responses can be distinguished: increase in scholarships; the presence of the GTO insignia; strengthening immunity; introduction to sports; development of personal qualities; restoration and strengthening of posture, which is necessary due to inactivity caused by the acquired profession. In addition, the article discusses the goals of the university hosting this sporting event, as well as the development prospects. The essence of which lies in the policy of improving and improving the physical fitness of students, as well as the development and rallying of teams of different nationalities.
