В работе дается экспертная оценка монографического исследования сибирского криминолога Жмурова Дмитрия Витальевича, подготовленного на тему «Кибервиктимология», изданного авторитетным московским издательством «Юрлитинформ» в начале 2023 года. Рецензентом описываются основные достоинства монографического исследования, а также высказываются критические суждения по некоторым вопросам, отраженным на её страницах. Рецензентом подчеркивается актуальность проведенного исследования, его абсолютная научная новизна и чрезвычайная практическая значимость. В качестве положительных аспектов отмечается разработка автором уникальной концепции - частной виктимологической теории под наименованием «кибервиктимология», представляющей собой комплексное исследование кибержертв, их кибервиктимности, особенностей их кибервиктимизации, а также системы виктимологической профилактики криминальной виктимности в информационном пространстве. В качестве критических замечаний в адрес автора исследования высказаны: не вполне удачная структура работы и недостаточное использование официальной ведомственной виктимологической статистики МВД России.
