There is a large number of the monographs devoted to territorial marketing and advance of territories though this scientific field is rather new. The monograph brought to attention is also devoted to this subject, but its uniqueness is in the fact that it emphasizes only one aspect of advance of the territory, namely the competitiveness of the territory in terms of globalization.
