Reception of V. Rasputin's creativity in Chinese criticism: “Farewell to Matyora”

The article is devoted to the problem of reception of modern Russian prose in China. The Chinese people discover the Russian world through literature. The spiritual and moral ideas in the works of Russian authors are of particular importance for Chinese readers. With the spread of Russian works about the countryside in China, Chinese critics actively research them. They pay special attention to the works by V. Rasputin. The article presents the content of several articles by Chinese scientists from Peking and Nanjing Universities. They come to an important conclusion that the idea of harmony between the human and nature in Rasputin's works is similar to the ancient Chinese philosophy of life, the unity of the environment and human. This is the fundamental philosophical position of the ancient Chinese Confucian thinkers, the core of the ecological wisdom of Chinese culture, a message to all mankind.
