Speech culture and anticulture in contemporary mass media (on the data of Russian, Polish and German texts from the internet sections)

In the article an attempt is undertaken to solve two theoretically significant problems: 1. To define the terms “speech culture” and “anticulture” in the context of the conceptions of contemporary Speech Study; it is revealed that phatic speech genres, alike the informative ones, may contrast according to the communicative purposes; and to realise the purposes each language has its own special “grammar of politeness”; and 2. To analyse the communicative-speech characteristics of the texts of the contemporary cyberspace, realizing in various ways hostility and speech aggression; thematic groups, determining the revealing of speech aggression are identified, and language means and communicative devices used to express hostility used in Russian, Polish and German sections of the Internet are compared.
