Verbal characteristics of linguocultural type "loser" in English cinema discourse

The article deals with the verbal and non-verbal signs of the communicative behavior of a typified loser. The “loser” personality type is viewed from the standpoint of cultural linguistics and paralinguistics. There is conducted the contextual analysis of gestures and facial expressions of characters in feature films. There is made the conclusion about the use of gestures and facial expressions by the unsuccessful characters, expressing negative emotions, as well as lexemes with mostly negative communicative charge in most communicative situations presented in the feature films.
