English ergonyms in the linguistic landscape of Vladivostok

The article deals with the analysis of the English ergonyms of the sphere of food service in Vladivostok in the context of the topical direction of urban linguistics - the study of the linguistic urban landscape. There is developed the lexical and semantic classification of ergonyms, there is revealed their semantic and functional potential. The authors conclude about the modern tendencies in the processes of ergonyms' creation and their role in the transformation of the linguistic cultural space of the Russian city.
