The article presents the analysis of the process of reforming professional education in South Korea. The issues of modernization of pedagogical training are studied. The features of the curriculum of the course of pedagogy theory are specified. The documents of the Ministry of Education and scientists of the country are studied and the shortcomings of teacher’s training reform are identified.
