Reform of China's Surveillance System and a Study of Its Practical Implementation

In view of the need to fight corruption, China has united various anti-corruption forces, and based on the reform of state supervisory structures deployed at three test sites (Beijing, Shanxi and Zhejiang Provinces) has rebuilt and updated the state supervision system. This article states that the reform and improvement of the supervisory system in China should be based on the five aspects. They are 1) creation of the concept of restrictions and balance, 2) observance of the principle of due process, 3) harmonization of relations between the supervisory authorities and the disciplinary inspection bodies of the ruling party, 4) further improvement of the theory of supervision, and 5) clarification of the communication mechanism between the supervisory committees and the judiciary.
