Reforming the institute of ecclesiastical consistories in the second half of the XIX century (on the example of the Saratov region)

The harmonious cooperation between the state and the church plays an important role in streamlining administrative mechanisms. Problems of interaction among secular and church structures were evidently revealed during the transitional periods of Russian history, when the reform of state institutions must be accompanied by the proper spiritual foundation; the efficiency of the social life novels depended on the interaction with the representatives of the clergy. The second half of the XIX century was such time for Russia. This historical period is one of the most interesting for the study due to the contemporary political, social, economic, cultural, and spiritual transformations.
