Regional differentiation and its relationship with economic security

The article examines the problems of differentiation of socio-economic development of Russian regions. It is noted that such problems are typical for large countries, which include a significant number of regions. At the same time, it is noted that in Russia regional differences are significant in comparison with other countries of the world. A quantitative assessment of the level of differentiation of regional development in Russia is given. The relationship between regional differentiation and economic security is shown.
