Regional importance of main oil pipe-line "Eastern Siberia - the Pacific Ocean"

The importance of the project of the main oil pipe-line «Eastern Sibe-ria - the Pacific Ocean» in the context of the present day regional political processes is considered in the article. Special attention is paid to the discussion of its role in the provision of power security in China and Japan as well as its place in the formation of power strategy of the Russian Federation.
