Regional aspects of hygienic assessment of physical development of children and adolescents on the example of the city of Novokuibyshevsk

The article describes the current regional aspects of evaluation of physical development of children and adolescents enrolled in institutions of secondary education in Novokuibyshevsk city, Samara region. A survey was conducted in 1873 schoolchildren and measured somatometric parameters of children's physical development: height and weight. To identify regional characteristics of physical development of children in Samara region, we compared the obtained data with the standards of physical development that are currently used in Moscow. The peculiarities of physical development of the child population at the present stage were revealed.
