Regional aspects of tourism development in the Far Eastern federal district of the Russian Federation

The article is devoted to the study of the processes of tourism development in the Far Eastern Federal District of the Russian Federation. The positions of the subjects of the Russian Federation in the National Tourist Rating of2022 are revealed, the features of the dynamics of the tourist flow to the regions of the Far East are considered. Special attention is paid to the study of potential opportunities for the development of the Great Tea Way cross-border route, which is an important area of tourist and recreational interaction between China. Mongolia and Russia in the field of tourism development. The article presented various directions of development of the Far Eastern Federal District, including on the basis of the formation of tourist macro-territories. The main trends of tourism development in the Far Eastern Federal District, problems and directions of their solution are revealed.
