Regional clusters in the internet environment as a tool for regional development

Бесплатный доступ

The new concept of regional cluster in the Internet environment is considered and defined, which is substantiated by the focus on increasing the competitiveness of the regional economy through the development and application of innovative technologies, introducing the achievements of science and engineering into the production process due to functioning and wide interaction of members of clusters and intercluster networks in the information environment. The functioning mechanisms of the cluster are fully oriented on the information environment and solving regional problems, such as disproportions in the development of regions, regional employment, and migration. Due to the creation of remote jobs in other regions and the participation of various organizations and enterprises from other regions in the work of the cluster, two problems of regional economy are solved simultaneously: on the one hand, a breakthrough development of regions is ensured, and on the other hand, disproportions in the development of regions are reduced. Creation of jobs through regional clusters in the Internet environment does not require the creation of expensive infrastructure and relocation of employees. Jobs relevant to digitalization, innovation and technological renewal are being created. The introduction of new technologies and developments through the regional cluster in the Internet environment will allow to produce competitive products that can be exported.
