Regional specifics of the demographic component of human capital

The article sets forth methodological approach and methods for assessment of the demographic component of human capital. It presents results of the calculations using this methodology by the Russian Federation subjects. The calculations were made on the basis of the Rosstat data for 2000 and 2011 on fertility, mortality, demographic structure, morbidity and life expectancy of population.
