The research problem and the rationale for its relevance. Mentoring in Russia is usually referred to the sphere of methodological support for young teachers and their adaptation. The analysis of international and domestic experience in the development of mentoring in organizations has shown that the condition for their maximum innovative development is the involvement of as many employees as possible in mentoring activities. Moreover, one mentee can interact with several mentors at once: a classical mentor, a tutor, a coach, a mentor, a curator. One and the same employee can act as a mentor for one colleague and as a mentee for another. Such a branched mentoring system acquires the character of a multifunctional, integrated system. The Samara Region has developed a regional program of multifunctional mentoring, in which mentoring is offered to all teachers who are focused on overcoming their professional difficulties. However, it is possible to have several mentors to solve different tasks (preparation for competitions, support of individual educational route, etc.), and a mentor can have several mentees (two, three, subgroup). The goal of the research is to identify the features and generalize regional practices of mentoring in educational organizations of the Samara region. Methodology. There were used a set of methods to achieve the goal of the research: content analysis, questionnaire survey and “study and generalization of advanced pedagogical experience”.
