Regional conditions, as a factor of effective development of business structures

The problems of effective functioning of domestic entrepreneurship in the segment of small and medium-sized businesses and currently remain unregulated at the regional level. This situation is due to the small state participation in the processes under consideration, as a key component of the external environment in relation to small and medium-sized businesses. Statistical information on demographic indicators of development of small and medium-sized businesses in the Federal districts, the analysis of the structure of existing business structures of the SME segment in the Federal districts, as well as a comparison with prominent representatives of the Volga Federal district: Tatarstan and Samara region. In conclusion, it is concluded that due to the historically established industrial zones, without state participation, the SME segment is almost impossible to develop in some regions of Russia.
