Regional aspect of human capital formation in Russia

The article presents certain characteristic features of the preservation and increase of human capital in Russia. The human potential, the sources of its formation, the stability of growth, the conditions of preservation and accumulation, evaluation indicators are considered. The value of the human development index as the main indicator of the standard of living of the population is shown. A number of areas of economic efficiency and the growth of human capital are considered from the perspective of their interdependence. The ways of investing in human capital are investigated, the dynamics of indicators of the standard of living in the Kaliningrad region is presented.
