Regional factor in providing information security of the Russian Federation in the present context

The integration of the regional political subsystems into the federal information security system assumes great importance in the modern context. The article analyses the main aspects of public policy in providing information security of the Russian Federation and the special impact of the regional factor on public policy. The author notes a mediocre involvement level of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation in a modern information and political process.
