Regional patriotism as a factor of territorial development

The article analyzes the concept of “regional patriotism” in comparison with state-civil patriotism. The relevance of this area of research is substantiated, while the emphasis is on expanding and updating the content of manifestations of the patriotic mood of the population in the social space at the local level based on modern social practices and technologies. Problem areas and risks of development of this activity, due to the expansion of the boundaries of patriotic sentiments of citizens, and possible ways to overcome them in the local community are considered.
